In 1967, Walt Disney created the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. As the last ride that Disney himself oversaw the development of, it has since become a classic experience. Over the years, many Disney parks have featured the same story of pirates of the West Indies, and Walt Disney World® Magic Kingdom has an additional treat with its 3 distinct scent areas – Dockside, High Seas, and Pillage & Plunder.
